The IDZ Solutions Suite uses GPS telemetry, GPS/GPRS, active and passive RFID technology, and other cutting-edge technologies to improve the accountability and control of tools and other assets. The solution was designed hand-in-hand with the Air Force and other aerospace organizations, airmen, aircraft mechanics, aircraft maintenance leaders, MAJCOM leadership and Air Force AFSO21, and commercial Lean consultants. Because they support both AFSO21 and Lean Sigma Six philosophies, our solutions, created specifically to meet Air Force automated tool requirements, are also a good fit for the enterprise needs of MAJCOM and Air Force leadership.

How it Works

Unlike systems that involve bar codes, scanners, or data entry, our system has no room for human error. Our processes and methodologies provide a high level of tool control at the individual item level as well as at a toolbox level. This is achieved by assigning individual RFID readers and tags for every tool, so every item is controlled in real time in its specific pocket. Administrators can see overviews, run reports, and set specific access control and drawer restrictions.
